Liane Bonin is a nationally recognized journalist, author, radio producer, and produced screenwriter. She has written thousands of articles which have appeared in Entertainment Weekly, The Los Angeles Times, Mademoiselle, Budget Living, Writer's Digest, Daily Variety, People, Teen People, The Hollywood Reporter, Detour, Teen, Flaunt, the Writers Guild of America West's Written By, Maxim and other publications. She is currently the editor of the WSAToday magazine, show daily and website. An outgrowth of The WSA Show, the on- and off-line products are a respected source for the latest trends in footwear, accessories and fashion. Her young adult novel Celebrity Skin was bought by NAL/Jam and hit stores in 2007. The book was dubbed "a scandalously catty, guilty pleasure" and "Entourage for teenage girls" by Jane magazine editor Laura Morgan, while 6x: The Uncensored Confessions author Nina Malkin asked, "Who could ask for anything more than this glamorous, garish, behind-the-scenes glimpse of what really goes down in Tinseltown?" As a producer for public radio, her work has aired on Weekend America, KCRW, BBC Radio, Seattle's KUOW, and transom.org. Her script Dante's View was the first place winner of the Writer's Digest screenplay contest, and was later independently produced starring Guinevere Turner, Sheryl Lee and Brett Harrelson. She co-wrote the feature screenplay Plastic Jesus, which was a finalist in the Los Angeles Film Collaborative grant program. She lives with her husband and three dogs in the Los Angeles area.
